READ FOR A CHANGE INSIDE-OUT AND OUTSIDE-IN

Life has a series of stages where sometime we feel low and sometimes high. There comes a period in life when you completely feel low and cannot concentrate on anything. It may be because things are not turning out as the way you had expected. Or it even may occur when you have everything going on good but you feel empty somewhere.
Do you have money in your pockets and purses but feel restless inside-out and outside-in?
Here as a budding psychologist I suggest the following for a refreshing new change. This will make you surely happy, calm and a sense of tranquility achieved.
No don’t stop reading here, I won’t suggest you make new friends or read self-help books in this article.
[1] Change your diet
Food rich in tyrosine, omega 3 and protein play a major role in reducing your anxiety, depression or mood swings. These components in food activate the dopamine production in your brain. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter responsible for depression. I follow a simple food routine a banana and a dark chocolate. And yeah my mood feels alright!

[2] Change your atmosphere
You can opt to change the room setting. This may include rearranging of furniture, changing the curtain colors, your table décor to something pleasing. De-clutter your home/room/ surrounding. Bohemian lovers are less prone to mood swings related to atmosphere. Open your windows let the fresh air come in, switch off the air conditioner and enjoy the night breeze. I guarantee you will have some mood refreshment.
[3] Connect to nature
A man who distances himself will surely feel distressed. As nature itself is a great de-stressor for a human being. The sound of rain, the smell of the sand, the birds singing, and a squirrel squeaking everything will have a positive impact on you. You can either have pets or grow a garden. The psychology of plants is really great. I strongly suggest avoid caging of birds. You can tame them in an open environment.
[4] The fragrance
Throw all the chemical infused air-freshener sprays at home. We need to opt for a natural fragrance to breathe. Essential oils are the best form. They humidify the air, give you pleasing and calm mental effect. Lavender, cedar wood, basil and lemongrass essential oils which are readily available in the market are pocket friendly too. We can also go for scented bee wax candles.
[5]Self-care
Nobody will hear your stomach grumble, and your skin speaks to you. Self-care brings a complete transformation from inside-out and outside-in. It includes simple ways without much effort where you can feel completely de-stressed. Do a self-care spa; massage yourself, a facial, body polishing all these can be done at home with your own fingers. You don’t need a parlor or helping hand. All you need is motivation. As I strongly believe self care is the best care. Self care comes from self love. Love yourself from inside out and outside in, as conscience should be your master guiding you.
